The Bath branch of the Fitness First chain is a fully equipped gym, as you would expect from being part of a nationwide fitness chain.
In the main gym area you can find all the main types of equipment – Olympic squat racks, dumbbells up to 50KG with numerous benches, and various ranges of resistance machines. The cardio equipment includes treadmills, bikes and rowers. Classes are offered ranging from Yoga to spin and cardio sessions.
There is also a 20 meter pool onsite, with a sauna and accompanying steam room.
Memberships start at £65 per month with a decent discount available for students.
Unfortunately there is no dedicated car park available, although there is a Sainsbury nearby with 1.5 hour free parking.
