The Bath Sports and Leisure centre is home to a large gym and swimming pool where you can get a monthly membership starting at £30 for off peak or £40 for anytime access.
The gym is really well equipped. There are Olympic bars, free weights to 30KG, plus a variety of resistance machines. The huge selection of cardio machines are mostly equipped with latest touch screen showing TV channels throughout the day. A large functional fitness area can be found with equipment such as heavy tyres, battle ropes and kettle bells.
As part of your membership you get access to the 25 meter pool, where lane swimming sessions take place for large parts of the day. Also there are plenty of classes on offer, from Yoga to Zumba to group cycling.
There is a large paid car park on site, and the leisure center is centrally located which makes it excellent for bus links.
