The Bath Sports and Leisure Centre is home to the main public swimming pool in Bath. The main pool is 25 meters long and has various sessions throughout the week, including lane swimming, family fun swims and lessons.
In addition to the main pool there is also a fantastic children’s splash pool, complete with slides and water fountains. Young children and toddlers will both find plenty to entertain them for an hour swim session.
The swimming pool and leisure center is operated by Better Leisure, and there are plenty of facilities in the building including changing rooms with hairdryers, toilets, showers and paid parking.
You can pay for one off swims, or you can sign up to Better Leisure to become a member and get your swims as part of the monthly fee. (There is an extensive gym and various fitness classes on site).
If you have children you may want to take advantage of the regular junior swim classes held in the pool. These sessions are popular and run throughout the year, where children progress through a structured swim program.
Bath Dolphins, the local swim club, also makes it home at Bath Leisure Centre.
