Learning to Cycle in Bath
The Odd Down Cycle track is a great location to gain confidence on two wheels. Public sessions are bookable for £2 per hour, and the 1.5km track is completely closed off to traffic, making it extremely safe.
In addition there are some fantastic routes in Bath that are traffic free. The old railway cycle path is relatively flat, traffic free, and stretches from Bath all the way to Bristol via scenic countryside. For something a little different, the Greenway Two Tunnels path is also an old railway route. Again this path is completely closed to cars, and routes through two long railway tunnels under the hills. Bring some bike lights!
