Britain's oldest outdoor public swimming pool has been recently restored and reopened to the public after a hardwon campaign from local residents. The pool is heated from April through to September, and after that the pool will remain open (and unheated!) for cold water swimming sessions (wetsuits allowed). A separate children's pool at 0.8 meters deep is also onsite and next to the main pool....

This hidden gem is situated inside the Royal United Hospital in Bath. The outdoor pool, used by NHS staff but open to general public swimming sessions, is only open during the summer months.
